Once upon a time, you had two options as to how to enjoy your Kratom; you could either pick and chew on a kratom leaf from a Mitragyna speciosa tree, or you could boil down the leaf into a tea. Today this famous Southeast Asian herb is available in a number of different forms; read on to learn more about the four primary types of Kratom products we offer at Kratom Virtue and how to use them properly.
Plain Leaf Powder
Simple leaf Kratom Powder is Kratom’s most basic type, and is closest to its original cultural roots. Our farmers simply harvest, dry, grind and batch-mix fresh kratom leaves to make this powder. The plain-leaf powder is most cost-effective and flexible of our kratom products.
The plain leaf powder can be used in a number of ways, from Kratom soaps to Kratom incenses and beyond, according to Kratom enthusiasts around the world.
Although the Kratom products sold at Kratom Virtue are not sold for ingestion, we have worked hard to provide the widest and most comprehensive range of possible varieties; from premium favorites like Maeng Da and Red Bali to lesser-known gems like White Elephant or Green Thai. We also offer each powder in plenty of sizes: 25 gram, 100 gram, 250 gram, 1/2 and full kilo; to give you the best value for money.
Enhanced Forms of Kratom and Extracts
Our best Kratom strains are augmented Kratom and Kratom extracts. They add pure indole alkaloids to the powder (enhanced) or have
a condensed powder (extract) to take the basic powders up a notch. These preparations have the most potent kratom aroma compared to our
standard kratom products, and should only be used in limited quantities.
Kratom extracts can be used alone or mixed with our basic Kratom powder to increase aroma.Using concentration methods that condense the original powder down
to a potent extract rather than simply drying and powdering leaves, kratom extracts achieve a greater strength than standard powder.
We reduce 100 grams of powder to 5 grams of extract for our 20:1 kratom extract.
Kratom Teas
One of the most popular ways of preparing kratom is kratom tea. Kratom enthusiasts believe the aroma helps to alleviate chronic pain and anxiety, as well as improve energy levels or focus etc.
There are three basic strains of kratom: white vein, green vein, and red vein. Similar to multiple mathiods of preparing kratom powders and extracts, there are several different ways to make kratom tea.
Since each kratom strain is rich in natural alkaloids, letting your powder or leaf roll in boiling water is not preferable. Avoid putting your kratom leaves or powder in boiling water. Instead, waitfor your water to cool for a couple of minutes.
The best way to prepare kratom tea is to simmer it a while. That’s the key to ensuring maximum potency of your tea. Some choose to add some lemon juice to their teas as the citric acid helps to provide consistency between alkaloids.
It’s also essential to mention that both the result and aroma depend on how long you let your tea steep. You should start with small amounts, 1-2 grams of kratom powder per cup.
